No, and most people in S Florida don't even care about the existing teams in S Florida. Miami gets 35K tops unless they're nationally relevant and FIU/FAU are lucky to draw 15K or more on a given night.

Boca Raton itself is a semi-sleepy haven for the wealthy people in Florida that don't want to go south into the "subpar" Miami outskirts. College football is roughly 50th on their list of things to care about on a given weekend.

Subpar Miami Outskirts? As compared to what; the high-end strip malls in and around Disney or the glamour of old Orlando? 03-lmfao

Hey dolt, I was phrasing it from the perspective of the rich socialites in Boca Raton. That's absolutely THEIR view of Miami.

But since you asked, Orlando is 200x better than Miami. And the area around UCF is as nice as it gets.

Dolt? That's clever. reread what you wrote and notice how your giving opinion and you using quotes doesn't necessarily mean you're speaking for another group of people. And your semi-sleepy haven for wealthy people is an outdated, over-simplification of the area. There are nearly 90,000 people living in Boca Raton and 1.3 million who live in Palm Beach Co. There is a super wealthy enclave (of which there are many in S. Fla) in Boca Raton which skews the median income, but the area is just a continuation of the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/W Palm Beach MSA .

and Orlando is 200x's better than Miami....sounds very scientific and learned. I'll keep that in mind when I'm comparing the two areas.

Yep. Beats a baseball stadium in Tampa IMO.

If you're going to crap on Tropicana Field at least get the location correct smart guy. FYI, it's in St. Pete, not Tampa. 05-mafia

And as far as overall location, I'll take the Gulf beaches over the Atlantic beaches any day.

Yep. I bet one of the bowls moves to Orlando like the old Carquest/Blockbuster bowl did. The American almost had a deal with the Citrus Bowl for a 3rd bowl game in Orlando. Bowl games are about more than football and there is so much more to do in Orlando than Boca. FAU's stadium is better for this bowl game though.
