Scanning the SoCon
My name is John and I write a blog at http://mocsmania.blogspot.com. It covers the Mocs, but also is a major source of information on SoCon basketball.

This will be the fourth year of Scanning the SoCon. That is a weekly feature that comes out on Sunday night where each team from the SoCon has a representative that talks about their team and other issues around the SoCon.

I need someone from ETSU. I hope someone from this message board will take that on. The time commitment is basically once a week being willing to vote on a few things (Power Rankings, Player of the Week and Game of the Week) while once every two or three weeks answering a handful of questions. If you're interested, please respond her or send me a PM and we can talk further.

Thanks!

Sure - but I'll be relying on what I can observe from the stands or pick up from public reports. I don't have any inside contacts in the athletic department or the coaching staff.

Most of your write ups are "spot on."

There was a blog for ETSU basketball, not sure if it is going to be picked back up with the start of the new year.
I think swvabucsfan was one of the 3 posters on this board who ran it/wrote it.

It's still out there and the invitation still exists for anybody out there that wants to contribute content to it and I'd love for someone to do this if possible. I was trying to do it myself for a while but my family and work life got to busy and I couldn't keep up. I've been meaning to at least update both the schedule and roster but still haven't got around to do that either.
