This is true.

Too many ppl are basing this years game off of last years result rather than realizing that we are no joke this year. We are at the Joan, it's homecoming, and we have a 10 game home winning streak. MTSU has a good team, but good isn't enough under the above circumstances at this time. Maybe when you come back in 2016, but not this year.

If we lose Saturday even I'm going to laugh at Marshall fans.

I'm sorry if I sounded cocky in the above post but this team has made me this way. I thought Ohio would keep it close, they didn't. I thought Akron would possibly upset us, they didn't. And lastly I thought ODU would challenge us and they didn't. Six weeks ago MTSU would challenge us but based on what I have saw through watching 5 Herd games and 3 MTSU games this game should be somewhere around 45-21.

Careful there. I've based FIU's entire year against last year. We got beat bad against FCS BC-C this year had FG's to win. Louisville was a clock-runner last year, this year we held them to 31. UAB was a 3 point loss last year, this year was a win; FAU was similar scenario to UAB.

MTSU won last year, they know how to play you. You may be maginally better and they may be marginally weaker, plus you're playing at home. This, however, by no means, adds up to a blow-out.

Like I said before, it's a two score game and maybe three or one depending on who scores late. Marshall makes marginally two scores worth of mistakes more than MTSU and they could be surprised in this one.

If the marshall team is as sanguine as many of its fans they are going to get their sh*t kicked in.

We need to be prepared for a tough game. No doubt we now have a target on our back and will get the best of any team we play from here until seasons end.

^^^THIS... If we come out flat and not prepared, MTSU can very easily strut out of the Joan like a boss...with a huge win...

I'm not being cocky at all because anything can happen, but I just don't see us losing this one...If MTSU does pull it off, I will be the first one to congratulate them...and enjoy a nice big helping of crow.

Marshall vs. Mid. Tenn. is going to be a great game. I look forward to watching it.
