"The hell you do! We cheer the loudest."

One thing is for sure, if we ever have a "Our stadium is the emptiest" contest Pitt will sure be in the running for the crown.

WOW! One for every fan in attendance.

Oh, snap. You nailed him. Your fans definitely cheer the loudest.

RE: Clemson Fans Are An Insecure Bunch
It's amazing that some don't seem to understand the concept of "trapped sound" versus open air sound. It's like anything that makes noise -- a small confined space is going to make a boom sound louder than something out in an open field. Unless you are talking about 10 people versus 1000 people type ratio, the container is going to be just as effective if not more so than the number of people. Talking about thousands upon thousands of people -- the number difference starts losing its effect of being a greater influence. Cuse is always loud and noisy for a Cuse/UL game due to the rivalry of the years in the BE. While the BB games are more competitive and vindictive than FB, it does carry over to become school against school the last several years.

Can't say that it was any louder at Clemson today than last week at Cuse. Both had their deafening moments.

Not getting into a pissing match over it, just posting an ESPN reporter's tweet about the noise level. You can make fun of it all you want, doesn't change the home-field advantage our crowd gives us.

The noise was so loud it was painful to the ear--similar I suppose to standing next to a jet engine. The Dome may only seat 50,000 (49,262 to be exact) but the atmosphere in that place can be off the charts in a big game.

Exactly...is it the loudest place now? No way...but it can get as loud as any place out there for stretches. Cuse just needs to get back in the national picture to get the fan base revved back up.
