I don't blame the U.S. for their beginnings, but I'd say there is a strong argument that we allowed them to get as powerful as they are. Both by pulling out of Iraq entirely and by arming rebels we didn't know enough about.

Since when does rosie hold any weight (no pun intended) concerning world affairs? That is comical and suits her vocation as a comedian. Really, I couldn't care less. Same goes for all those idiot film and singing stars. They're entitled to their opinion and because it's still a free country they can voice whatever they want. Now, if we're stupid, and uninformed enough to listen and repeat their lunacy that's when it gets bad.

The Surge armed some of these guys! I showed you the links. It's putting your head in the sand to say anything but that. Yes the Patreus surge had something to do with arming ISIS.

Plenty of things armed these guys, the surge and arming the Syrian rebels comes to mind; therefore, I can see how the US can get some of the blame here.

Lets not forget it was the US that trained bin Laden.

As far as Syria we have been arming the moderate rebels. Arms getting into the hands of the radical rebels was one main reason Obama delayed.
