Buffalo 34 @ EMU 17. EMU is going backward so far.

BGSU 38 @ Ohio 27. Ohio has enough defense to stay in this one, but not enough offense to win.

@ Akron 28, Miami 27. Tough call here. I'll say home field is the difference.

@Kent 26, UMASS 24. Another close one, I think. Kent at home gets one in the win column.

@ Ball St 30, WMU 27 Flip a coin on this one. I give it to Ball at home.

Toledo 34 @ Iowa St 31. Chance to bag a Big 12 win.

@ NIU 34, CMU 26. This will be our best shot at a win in Dekalb in a few years. We seem to be peaking and may just pull it off. But my gut tells me not quite.

RE: MAC Picks wk 7
Buffalo (-14): 38 @ EMU: 20
* Buffalo's Offense is too much, but their D allows EMU to score some points later in the game to keep it under 3 TDs.

BGSU (-1): 38 @ Ohio: 27
* BGSU's lousy D allows Ohio to score points, and Ohio's good D holds BGSU under 40.

Miami: 20 @ Akron (-14): 31
* Miami's confidence on O with their wild comeback last week puts points up on a Good-D Akron to beat the spread. But Akron has a Bowden -- at home, to pull it out.

UMass: 28 @ Kent St (PK): 24
* UMass gets their first win they were looking for. Kent St has the O of a DII school; not enough, even against bad UMass D, to pull it out.

WMU: 27 @ Ball St (PK): 24
* WMU misses another FG & XP, but thankfully, BSU misses a long FG to push it to OT. BSU D keeps WMU under 30.

Toledo: 31 @ Iowa St (-3): 35
* Iowa St sees last week's Toledo game as blood, and needs this win to have a semi-respectable year. At home makes all the difference. Makes MAC look sub-par.

CMU: 31 @ NIU (-9): 34
* NIU needs to come back in the 2nd half to win it and keep home streak alive. QB issue still confusing fans & coaches. NIU does Not beat the spread, though. Barn-burner.

Or maybe just the O that has an O line of all freshman and sophomores. A sophmore QB and running back and other freshman and sophomores throughout the lineup. Be patient.
