Can we petition somone to see if Sam Hurd can be released to come coach these guys on how to block? They REALLY need it.

RE: Wide receiver blocking (lack of)
I really haven't seen our RBs consistently in the second level that would really call for our WRs' blocking to make a difference. Our running game from our Arab
RBs haven't been explosive at all.

+1
BTW, I want to see wide receivers blocking regardless of whether a RB is "at the second level" or not, if it is their assignment. A lineman doesn't just block if the play is designed to come his way. He just does his job: He blocks!
While I am at it, our QB's have completely stopped faking that they keep the ball after a hand off. Why?
Think back to Harnish especially, and Lynch less so, but even Lynch. These guys would hand the ball off and continue to run as if they still had it. Many a time they fooled defenders (and cameramen) into thinking they still had the ball. This year's crop of QB's so far hand the ball off and then just stand there watching the ball carrier! Arrggh. Absolutely no attempt to mislead the defense as to who has the ball. It might be a little thing, but if so, it's a pretty big "little thing."

Good point, the handoff needs to be less obvious, that would help, even if the RBs are Arab.

Nobody is going to bite on Hare keeping the ball, that's why.
