We lose because we are undisciplined- commit dumb penalties and give up big plays. Towson is not very good, but we are not very good either. 28-27 TUCC

I agree that the Dukes will be sloppy and give up big plays. That much hasn't changed in six weeks.

Story of the season - offense barely outpaces the defense.

Towson prediction thread
One prediction I can give is for rain, unfortunately. They're calling for a 60% chance at this point.

Two very weak teams. Flip a coin. I think Towson is a little better than UD, so I pick the cats by a FG, 38-35.

RE: Towson prediction thread
Towson offensive stats this season:
-98th in total offense.
-112th in passing offense.
-111th in passing efficiency.
-97th in scoring offense.
-57th in rushing offense.
-109th in 3rd down conversion percent.
-Tied for 81st in red zone offense.

This is against a schedule of Central Connecticut State, Delaware State, NC Central, Maine, Stony Brook, and WVU. Barring an epic collapse by our offense, we will be fine in this game. We're not a bad team. We have a bad defense, but we're not a bad team.

Towson 24

This is the 2nd straight game where the opposing QB is not much of a passer either. The better running game wins and Towson's is pretty good, but I suspect Withers sells out even more than last week. Ambrose can have the Tiggers sell out too and he should. Vad Lee will have some play action opportunities to break open the game once the Dukes suck in Towson's defense with a heavy dose of the run. Less than 25 pass attempts = JMU victory.

Whenever my friends complain about their two hour drive from Richmond or nova, I remind them of the guy coming from Phoenix, AZ for at least one game a year.
If he can do it, almost anyone can.

I might be on the road in the northern Virginia, DC area during the game. Are there any other radio broadcasts in that area besides 55 am?

My grandson, JP Apted, with The Guest of Honor, at last weekend's family pig roast. The farmer we bought the pig from claimed he was 250 pounds. No way. That oinker was every bit of 300.

Normally make it for 2+ games. It was tough this year because of the schedule not having 2 consecutive weeks at home and some some other issues. Looking forward to having some adult beverages with many of you.
04-cheers
