USF went from commuter school to big time, and paid zero dues then acted like world beaters and wanted to hold other schools down. Id say top to bottom year in and year out this conference is going to have some of the most parity in the country, and every school in this conference has recruited some decent talent. No game in this conference will be a gimme.

Thanks for getting that off your chest. It must have been tough to carry around all that hate, naiveté and outright ignorance for so long.

Program? Quit renting a stadium, build one (I'd guess about 10k seating is all you will need) and then you might be a program.

Wow so here we go again with the anti USF BS. There are many of these same threads from many schools. Yet the first time a USF fan starts it rapidly degenerates into smack.

I can't tell you guys how many posts like this I've read about that game. They say the same thing about the time USF came to Dowdy-Ficklen. I honestly hope we slaughter USF this week.

It always puzzles me when general comments like that are made regarding an entire fanbase, where a few idiots somehow represent the entire fanbase. Did this person’s wife meet me and my wife or the rest of the people in my group? We had a lot of great conversations with ECU fans ranging from making fun of Leavitt’s hair to how great a fishing and golf we are spoiled with in the Tampa Bay area. Who knew those were topics so vulgar and rude….

Unfortunately, I keep reading about the “rude USF” fans at the Papa Johns Bowl game but it is not based in reality.

Did we have a few moron fans….aka drunk students…..yes, but so did ECU in the fight could have quickly gotten out of control in the Five Point area of Birmingham. Yet, since USF won the game most USF fans who attended remember the game than hold on to any grudge or bitterness b/c of the rude and bitter fans they may have encountered.

Actually….the worst part of that trip was the two “must go to” BBQ joints in the area, Dreamland and Jim N’ Nicks running out of food during the two days leading up to the bowl game. That was REALLY tragic!

While it sucks to be lumped into one category with other idiots, you can't act like you don't know what everyone complains about when talking about USF's fanbase. It's not just "a few idiots".

USF fans are by far the worst I've encountered, and this is coming from someone who grew up in Miami going to Canes games my whole life. The stuff I've seen at UM/FSU and UM/UF games is just horrible and made my family members stop going to games. And after all that I still believe USF fans are the worst I've been around.

That doesn't mean YOU are a bad fan or an ******* starting fights, but from my experience (and seemingly others as well) the generalization holds true.

Yeah because we know UCF fans are great at dealing with visitors. Give me a break

Last time South Florida was at UCF, a visiting fan came up to the UCF student section (wearing an obnoxiously large horned hat) and hurled insults at everyone around him the entire second half. I'm honestly a little surprised that he didn't end up in trouble.

He was a giant ass, but you can't judge the entire school based on that guy.
