Despite all of these negative factors, I think we will still draw 25,000+ because it is our homecoming game.

WKU drew about 14,000 for us. Our attendance is perfectly in line with our peers, and we are coming out of the darkest days in our history.

Homecoming is usually a spike even when we are bad so it should be better unless it rains.

We have a chance to make some hay with NT and MTSU. Win those, play well at Ark, beat FAU and the La Tech crowd might be nice.

I'm not going to say stop the attendance threads but MB is somewhat correct. Keep posting threads and you will see a Birdsong story on it.

I do think they have other motives for the attendance stuff but why give them ammunition and motive for a story?

Charles Hollis had a dig at UAB attendance in his Friday predictions.

It is almost as if UAB is the only non-SEC school in the state that is subject to attendance articles.

We are judged by it, so it concerns us. One feeds the other, so both have grown into a tradition - media reporting it and the populous talking about it. I don't see it changing.

But I hope that as we start to win more, the attendance grows and then for once, the commentary will go in our favor.
