Considering that we have played two top 10 opponents, Not to mention, on the road as well as playing our first conference game, on the road..... That's not bad @ all. Actually pretty darn good based on where we were just a couple seasons ago.... 07-coffee3

Yeah, you would think those rankings will go up through the rest of the season, unless Houston hangs 50+ on us and we turn it over 5 times and can't score. I don't think we play any other "high powered" offenses or "stingy" defenses.

I don't think 2012 is correct. I heard that was our first in the the conference opener since 2000

Well at least you didn't need the adult beverages to forget a Tiger football game.

What would our offensive rank be without the Ole Miss game? I know it dropped us from 250 yards rushing a game to 187 per, I think?

On the flip side what would our defensive ranking be without the UCLA game. Rushing yardage per game wouldn't change much (drops about 5 yards). The passing and total yardage would drop around 40-45 yards.

Very good point. Overall, I'm happy we played UCLA and Ole Miss, though. Our kids seeing they could compete against the best will be instrumental in pulling off our 10-2 record.
