Cards vs Clemson
I don't know if we will win or not, but I do know I am excited about seeing Louisville for the first time ever in Death Valley. Hope to see a great atmosphere and a good game!

RE: Cards vs Clemson
Early line has Clemson a 12 point favorite. That seems high to me, but every time I say that I get burned.

RE: Cards vs Clemson
12 does seem high. I'm guessing they're thinking L'Ville's offense may struggle against Clemson's D.

And You know sometimes Amazing things happen with the Cards when They seem to be Overpowered. See recent Bowl games. They seem to play up to Their opponent. Not predicting a Win but I think UL could wind up playing Their best game yet Saturday.

From a Louisville stand point...see what happens Saturday....interesting to see if Louisville WR DeVonte Parker will be back...if so the College Version of A.J. Green they can take the lid off the Defense..07-coffee3

Super excited and should be a GREAT Showcase of what the ACC can offer in a game NOT involving FSU.

I predict it will be A LOT closer than MOST expect.05-mafia

Ah, Parker. Forgot he was injured. Should be a huge boost down the stretch.

Should be a awesome game, and this will be the first true test against a name brand that should give are defense the recognition it deserves.

Also someone posted on Cards Scout site or possibly Rivals has us posted as a 6.5 dog for the game.

Unless our offense miraculously stops being a turnover and penalized machine. I just don't see us competing with FSU, Clemson, or ND this season. I'll never rule an upset out with Petrino on the sidelines, especially the way our D is playing. However, our QB and O-line will have to play twice as good as they have all year for us to win against these much better teams we're about to face. [/quote]

Point well taken...the Offense this year has been a dumpster fire.

Per Petrino presser a few minutes ago...."Devante Parker has been running routes for a week, cleared to practice starting tomorrow....should be good to go"

Maybe explains Vegas line starting at 10 then down to 7.5 then back up to 11.5.....probably some yes he's playing no he's not around Vegas the last 2 days.....I wonder how much line drops down to now, if at all.

RE: Cards vs Clemson
Clemson is hurting on the OL. They released the depth chart for Saturday and there are only seven players listed for 10 positions.

http://www.nmnathletics.com/fls/28500/pd...M_ID=28500 Starting RG Reid Webster is listed as the backup LT, RT, and C.

LB depth is also somewhat of a concern. Both the starting and backup WLB got injured against NCSU, Tony Steward tweaked a hamstring, Ben Boulware got a concussion, so backup MLB Kellen Jones will work some this week at WLB in practice.

It's going to be interesting...we are getting healthy but again the MAJOR Weakness for Louisville is the Offensive Line and also the Total Lack of Ball Security.

The Defense get a Major Test against your Skill Position players. Looking forward to the game Saturday regardless of outcome.

RE: Cards vs Clemson
Reasons why UofL won't win...
1) No pass protection and limited run blocking from the poor playing offensive line.
2) Less than adequate QB play due to inexperience, lack of composure, turnoveritis, and no protection from the OL
3) Too many "one step forward, two steps backward" with penalties. Way too any penalties.
4) Too many turnovers, many deep on our side of the field, resulting in short fields for the other team
Reasons why UofL will win...
1) I want them to.
2) Upsets happen.
3) Because.
