It was all over the NFL Pre Game shows this morning....NOBODY expects him back in San Francisco...Michigan or the Oakland Raiders if the Raider can't get Gruden...07-coffee3

Oakland makes the most sense. Harbaugh (who has three young kids) wouldn't even have to move. The Raiders aren't getting Gruden, but they desperately need to hire someone who can make their fans believe they will win again in the near future. Harbaugh fits that bill. This year's "hot" coordinators, whomever they are, don't help the Raiders in that regard. They need a name.

Another person that was mentioned for the Raiders job is Stanford Coach David Shaw...07-coffee3

Will Michigan shell out enough money to compete with possibly Miami or the Raiders to get him?

Successful at Stanford, and being coach of what most feel was the second best NFL team, I would say yes, and the can afford it.

Would not be surprised if Michigan offers between $8-10 Million a year for Harbaugh...

He should wait and see if the Florida job opens. Much better job.

Michigan will offer to pay more than any of them. Why? Because the AD is under attack at Michigan as well.

Not when you are a Michigan Alum that played Quarterback for the Wolverines. Try looking at a situation from a non-SEC perspective....

Players and Management apparently can't stand him...Deion Sanders kind of blew the lid off it a couple of weeks ago...remember Harbaugh was almost traded to the Cleveland Browns last offseason...the situation is toxic...

On the Cleveland Situation with a Raiders tidbit:

Per a league source, the trade that would have sent Harbaugh to the Browns would have resulted in a pair of third-round draft picks going to San Francisco.

That’s a far cry from the two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and $8 million that the Buccaneers gave the Raiders for Jon Gruden nearly 13 years ago. And it’s possible that, if multiple teams opt to pursue Harbaugh, the 49ers could get more that what they would have gotten from the Browns, if Harbaugh had decided to leave the Bay Area.

But he (more specifically, his wife) didn’t want to leave the Bay Area, which could put Harbaugh in play for the Raiders job. One league source tells PFT that Harbaugh would “love” to return to the Raiders, where his non-playing career began in 2002 and 2003 as the team’s quarterbacks coach.

Ultimately, the Raiders could give up a lot less to the 49ers to get Harbaugh than the Buccaneers gave up to get Gruden from the Raiders. Unless the Raiders can lure Gruden back to Oakland

The only College job he would even consider is Michigan...otherwise can see him at either Oakland or the Miami Dolphins.

I hope the Chicago Bears are in the market for Jimmy's services. I'm sick and tired of our Senior Vice President of Human Resources Head Coach Trestman. That guy can go fly a damn kite.

I'd like to see UM hire Harbaugh, but I also wouldn't mind if he came to Chicago, he is an old Bear.

Sure about that? Florida is a top job. If not the top job.

Florida is the most overrated job maybe. I agree that Harbaugh won't go back to a college job, unless it's Michigan.

Florida is not overrated but Harbaugh is a Michigan Man...the only College Job he would even consider is his Old School...Much like Urban and his Home State School Ohio State. Also remember 32 NFL Jobs > then Any College Job and that includes Florida...Spurrier already has proven that when he left Florida for Washington and Saban leaving LSU for Miami.

But really I expect Harbaugh to be working for Mark Davis and the Oakland Raiders...07-coffee3

Les Miles is a Michigan man and he didn't take the job. Also don't the Harbaughs have a feud with UM.

Miles issue is with Lloyd Carr...Harbaugh might have had issues with the old Michigan Administration during the RichRod years...my main point is don't see him back in College-(unless it is Michigan) because of the NFL $$$ and competing against the Best of the Best and to win the Ultimate Trophy in Football...The Lombardi...
