You aren't the only fans who don't like the music being played. A UT poster thinks playing rap music will scare people away and cause them to leave Toledo right away without stopping to get anything to eat.

I didn't realize we were playing a hockey game at the United Center, and Patrick Kane had just put the puck past Jimmy Howard. LOL
One of PJ's new "traditions" - since he is from Illinois, he is a Blackhawks fan.
I'm not opposed to the idea of a post-touchdown celebratory song (as long as we get the fight song first and foremost, I'm fine with it). Irritating a majority of his fan base with this particular selection probably wasn't PJ's wisest decision, though...

At least half the stuff he plays is pure filth and I'm extremely open minded. Some of the stuff is unbelievably dirty ("undress me, I'll undress you"' "g-string" references, "click, click" gun sounds). C'mon! That's just garbage. He literally drove people in my section to leave! I now cringe at time outs! Time to reevaluate and get some control. They're turning what could be a plus into an embarrassment! My kids are grown up but I wouldn't blame people for leaving kids at home if they are subjected to this. I challenge Dunn or KB to have this clown show them the lyrics for what he's playing. He'd be fired on the spot! Wake up!!!
I agree that a couple of the musical selections were questionable - reminded me of when PJ wanted the team to come out of the tunnel to 2Chains at the start of last season. I wasn't offended, but I can see how some might be. I would hope when stuff like this is being micromanaged to the level that it is, a little better judgment and/or common sense might be used.
That said, I also like the concept and agree it can be a plus. I loved seeing how pumped up our players were on the sidelines. Heck, even the Toledo players were amped up by it. The student section was obviously thin due to the weather, but I can see how they would really get into this as well.

Yep, there was one point late in the 3rd where BOTH the UT and WMU players were clearly jumping around / dancing to the music during a timeout to stay warm. It was pretty entertaining to see, honestly.
...and, thanks to the magic of the internet, here ya go!
