They tried to pound Cam early and often yesterday (as everyone on here wants), and it just didn't work.
When something doesn't work you adjust and that never happened.
Sent from my iPhone.
Well I want to agree with you, they don't have the players to adjust to a quick game running style.
Unless they put Huff in, and he's an unproven commodity, but he's worth a try. ACRB and cam can't run quick run game style like off tackle, pitches, screens.

RE: Running Back Discussion
I don't think ACRB is as slow as people seem to think. He's not Akeem, but he's not slower (and I would bet he's faster) than a guy like Spann was.
You could do other things with him than run him right up the dick.

Probably.
He's looked good on screens. But he hasn't had a run even close to off tackle. So I don't know if it's lack of speed or lack of knowing what he's capable of.

RE: Running Back Discussion
Haven't been overly impressed with JB's abilities. He's a tweener back as far as I'm concerned, not a bruiser or a burner. He is by no means terrible but nothing amazing so far. Stingily is typical short yardage guy that has no impact unless he has a huge hole to get his momentum going. Akeem is a shell of his former self, seems like he is still nursing injuries. We are desperate for that quick twitch make-you-miss running back. So far the only glimpse has come from Huff in his limited touches. The lack of the zone read option has hurt our running game immensely this year.

Whenever I see JB carry the ball it is with 2 hands. Good so you don't fumble but you will never get a long run that way.
