USM marching band
I just wanted to compliment the Golden Eagle marching band on their outstanding performance today. Everyone in my crew thought your band was the best we've ever seen in our stadium. And they looked like they were having fun which was very refreshing. Great job.

While you're at it, please pass along one more compliment from a Rice fan who enjoyed the band's fine work (and broad musical selection) throughout the game last week back at The Rock.

The Pride of Mississippi has always been one of the top collegiate bands as far as I'm concerned. They're also some great people. I had the opportunity to visit with some when they visited Marshall while I was a member of the Marching Thunder.

RE: USM marching band
Jamie Standland Wow Thanks for sharing. The MTSU folks were very kind.

Our Director thanks you guys.

As far as north texas goes. Our bands share a very famous alum. Tom Bones Malone of the david letterman band and the blues brothers was a member of the North Texas band and the Pride of Mississippi

No need to apologize. For how good the music program is, the football band is simply not on par.

No, but from what I've heard there was an anonymous donor this year who put up the money for the band to travel to many, if not all, of the away games this year.
