He simply put a relevant link up. He didn't even comment on it. You are the poster that was laying all kinds of smack on LaTech last week about how great UTEP was and that they would kick Tech's ass.

Haven't seen a Marshall fan say we would be undefeated, yet. Haven't seen them post anything other than rankings and statistics, not for the purpose of bragging, but because it's good for the conference and it's relevant to conference sports talk. Only when people like you disparage our team will you get Herd fans coming in to refute that WITH FACTS. Every fanbase we've played has believed we were over-rated before the game. Afterwards they are in shock. I'll let that speak for itself.

All of your posts have been bitter hatred. It's not Marshall's fault that UTEP sucks once again. Sorry rational, beloved UTEP fans. That isn't directed at you.

It's fun watching olliebaba try to discredit Marshall week after week. He roots for Marshall to lose just as much as the ECU fans. He was in the ODU game thread while Marshall was winning 28-0 trying to convince people that Marshall's D is it's weakness and that a team with a good passing attack would easily expose it. Last I checked ODU was supposed to have a good passing offense and the Herd held ODU to 85 yards through the air (Heinicke finished the game with a QBR of 3... by far the worst of his career). That guy really needs to find some happiness in his life.

Does this mean we don't get to sit at the cheerleader table at lunch? Callings us a name is a great plan. Unfortunately, most of us aren't 13 year old girls.

I'm not disparaging your TEAM. I'm disparaging your FANS. Y'all criticize easy u. fans for being braggarts but you're on the same level. I thought that we were done with easy u.'s incessant raving of their team(s) and you're no different. I was rooting for you to get the access bowl but now I'm not so sure for it would drive cusa posters nuts just like when we had bonds john, stilljonesing, and a few others talking up their easy u. teams.

What I'm trying to do but it goes over your heads is that it's better to be humble than to eat humble pie and than to have everyone laughing at you if you lose this season. As for the Miners, we know we suck, I'll admit it but still embarrassingly we still draw more fans than you. Now that is embarrassing. Tone it down or you'll be compared to easy u. fans and I sure wouldn't want that if we had a good team.

He also deserves praise for having a G5 school on the brink of a top 25 ranking.

You know MT, last year when we had easy u. in our conference their fans were so antagonizing, so delusional, that most everyone who posted here were at wit's end at having to read their posts. I thought for sure that we didn't have to hear such incessant bragging anymore. I was wrong. I gave easy u. fans the same type of posts but nothing changed they're still here along with that "other" team. Now it's twice as bad.

Two things.. I want you to make a list of the Marshall fans who are just being jerks about our team and how good they are. Make that list.. if it's more than a hand full then you are either sensitive or a liar.

Second.. I don't care if we lost you. Quite frankly I don't care if a single one of our conference mates like or support our program as long as they respect it.

Personally, I kind of like when everyone is hating us. That usually means we're doing good.

It is too bad Marshall has a soft schedule. The best team they will play all year will be for the conference championship in Dec. As long as they take care of their business they will be ranked eventually. I thought the ECU fans were bad last year until Marshall shut them up. Your fans are not helping your cause as a lot of non-Marshall fans are now rooting against Marshall just to see the train wreck. I personally see Marshall undefeated all year and hope they are as good as their record but we won't know until they play the Muts this weekend. If they blow out MTSU, then they are for real. Just don't expect everyone to bow to Marshall until they beat a team in the top 50.
