Home cookin'...Bad Refs Thread
I was going to just comment on the ND/Stan game, but figured this topic could be expanded to all bs calls (prolly already exists). The no call PI/INT that was NOT a catch was bad enough. Now the bounced pass for a completion even after a challenge is just ridiculous. It is good to know that even big time programs like Stanford can get hosed. UC got homered last week in Columbus on two calls that really stopped any comeback momentum. Officiating in the NFL can be bad, but in college with the conference refs, it just looks obvious sometimes. 03-banghead

Fender...I'm less concerned about homer refs and more concerned with the fact this is the worst UC team I've seen in years...and years.

The Ole Miss/Bama game saw some road cooking for 'Bama. 'Bama scored before the half to take a 7 to 3 lead.

A couple of plays later they were up 14 to 3 after the defender grab the facemask of the ball carrier turning his head around causing the ball carrier to turn fumble even though he was originally carrying the ball away from the defender.

By turning the ball carrier's head around the ball was positioned closer to the defender allowing him to punch the ball out and recover for the TD. He would never have had the opportunity without the personal foul that wasn't called.

The ref appeared to be looking right at the play and did nothing. It was one of series of bad calls 'Bama got from the refs.
