Offensively Louisville is in a rebuilding year, we lost a lot on offense last year. That's why I predicted at the beginning of the year Louisville would go 8-4 I still stand by that. Louisville's offense won that game for Clemson today.

Really...maybe in Marge head...most UofL fans on this board including myself were saying 8-4/9-3 and 3rd in the Atlantic...myself if going 8-4 that meant going 5-1 the first 6 games and losing at Clemson, Notre Dame and at home to FSU...Marge Post =

Well in both of Our losses We did make critical mistakes at the Wrong time. That said both games came down to the very last minute. We love being in this conference and should be competitive throughout the long haul.

Yup...we will be competitive....gotta get use to the upgrade in schedule but still have faith in Petrino...hopefully the Defense doesn't take a step back when Coach Strong Defensive Recriuts leave...Petrino offense will be fine once he gets his guys in place.

My problem is why isn't D.Brown and Dryer not being used more? Dryer especially since rehabilitation is complete. He has nothing but Sky holding Him back as far as potential. Dominic Brown is a Monster with the ball and it seems His PT is cut short. Unless there's something I've missed.

our offense is solid until we reach the redzone then it sucks

Not me...always said 8-4 with a ceiling of 9-3...Replacing Bridgewater, New Coaching Staff and upgrade in schedule with a Clemson, Florida State and Notre Dame...

There are so many of you red goofballs on here I don't recall who specifically said what. There were several acting like ul would pick up where it left off. "So much talent and depth", "Petrino", "big east >/= acc", etc.

Not so much here...but on the UofL Scout board they were like that....I knew better and many that post on here-(not all) felt the same.

SOME on here knew better. But you all - as a whole - were a very rambunctious bunch preseason/over the summer.

And i even think ul is / will be a pretty good acc program. A top 4 or 5 , easily, floating higher and lower from that spot occasionally. Already probably there, just not as firmly as you will be in a few years.

Vt, um, unc, uva, ncsu, gt, I'm looking at you... ( no respeck) for the north.

Most L'ville fans I know were saying 8-4 all year. Did we still think we can do better, HECK YES!!

I expect to upset either FSU or the Domers and win the rest of our games. And since it came down to 4 yards to decide who won the Clemson game @ Clemson, I would venture to think we are DEFINITELY on you guys Level.

I agree. Since I started reading these boards a long time ago, Marge has been the most negative poster I have seen across any board I frequent. Very seldom is there ever anything positive about anything or anyone. I don't even think there is a loyalty to the school supposedly supported by Marge (which I have no idea which one it is).

Louisville is good across the board on sports -- not the best in everything but far far from the worst. The BE thought we would be the ugly red-haired step sister when we joined and couldn't match up to their "superior old school" teams. They soon found out otherwise over the years as we won more titles across the board of sports, regular season and tourneys, than anyone not named ND.

We played in the title game of BB 4 of the last 5 years there (when it was the best BB conference) and we won 3 of those titles. We won big in football, basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming, volleyball, track and field, softball. We expect to compete on that level in the ACC as well, winning our fair share.
