Cato will throw for 450 yards on our defense. All he has to do is look in the middle of the field.

We played a good defensive game against ODU and Heinicke. People seem to forget that after one bad showing, which we did in fact win against USM.

It will come down to how each team plays next week, as always.

I have faith that MT will compete and possibly win though nothing would surprise me.

Lots of weird games this year. Clemson was up 31-0 on NC State last I looked, and both those teams took the number 1 team down to the wire

ODU struggled with Rice, Rice blew out USM, MT blew out ODU, and MT struggled with USM...

How that work out for you guys last year?

My thoughts...MTSU is a good team, and clearly beat us on a near last second play last year. However, we are a very different team at home, and we seem more potent on both sides of the ball this year. We are VERY balanced, and our running game may be even better than our passing game. Our defense is good, and holding opponents (I know, we haven't played anyone :-) ) to practically nothing when our first string is in. My initial feeling is Marshall comes out fast, gets a quick 21-28 point lead and coasts the rest of the way leading to a final score of something like 49-21. Now watch, it'll be a 10-7 dogfight. Any idea how many fans ya'll are expecting to bring?
