North Texas @ Indiana: Game Thread
UNT has had highs and lows this season. Big wins and Big loses. Some are questioning which version is the real North Texas. Today I believe we will gain a better understanding of this team's ability. Indiana is an improving Big Ten program, and would be a great win for North Texas and C-USA.

I believe North Texas wins today. I believe we will see a strong defensive effort by UNT, and I think Williams mobility at the QB position will buy our receivers extra time, and give Indiana's front 7 fits. C-USA needs a won over a P5 program. I think UNT will pick that up today.

21 - 0. Indiana early second Qtr. Looks like a tough start got the Mean Green. I do think IU is a much improved team this year. Expect them to be bowl eligible.

Gave ourselves a shot at this game with that second quarter. Gotta keep it up!

IU is a tough team.

21-7 at the half. Tough start for the Mean Green. Bad field position, and an early on-sides kick really hurt us. Williams has calmed down a bit, but we have to get better at picking up the blitz. D played well in the second quarter. Not out of this game yet, but we have to have a fast start in the second half.

Is it 2015 yet? This has been just a horrible game all around. This team is too young, too inconsistent. Maybe we can finish at .500 for the season.

Terrible showing by the Defense and the OL. Going to be a tough road going forward this year. One positive is that there are a lot of good young players just starting out.

RE: North Texas @ Indiana: Game Thread
this game shows why north Texas state is going to be a force in D1-A for decades to come

if you take out the two interceptions, the missed and dropped passes, the on sides kick and the 4 explosives by Indiana north Texas state would be winning this game probably easily

this is Big 10 Indiana too a Big 10 powerhouse program that has one of their 2 wins against Missouri that plays SEC football in the SEC so that is HUGE and north Texas state are right in this game with them and still moving the ball and scoring at will

if our D had made a few tackles and stopped them instead of letting explosives happened that would have been huge

if we had moved the ball a bit more at will then that would have kept their offense off the field or probably have limited some of their touchdowns to field goals and that changes everything

if the score was a bit closer they would also start playing tense and scared and that plays right into north Texas state's hands because there is nothing to lose while Indiana has the weight of being a major Big 10 program as well as their home fans weighing on them and that is when things can break down even for top Big 10 teams

this game and the talent on the field is WAY closer than it looks and it really probably should be a split win or a tie at this point

Ah, leave him alone, he's just crying in his root beer. His team dropped an unexpected one to NM.

You're talking about a guy who chose a name based on trolling UNT and has over 1000 posts doing it.

This was a very ugly loss. We are certainly in a rebuilding season. I do think Williams showed some impressive ability and will develop into a solid QB for us. Our game at UAB next week looks like it will be a dog fight now.
