He has shown he does not care about the U of M. No special treatment for him at all-just like opposing player to me. Is introduced as "from Chicago" although 99% of all NBA players use their alma mater if they have one, he has not given one cent to the school, and has never been back for a game or practice to my knowledge since Cal left.

Not blaming on you, but your knowledge doesn't extend far enough. I couldn't find the angry version needed, but here goes.

Not many NBA players are playing in their hometown. And I believe that's only done for home games.

Wait until he's retired and done with his NBA career...If I were an NBA player I'd focus 100% on my job, and worry about where I went to school when I'm done.

Moreover, he plays for Chicago, and is from Chicago...I don't mind him working that for the fans.

He fell one game short of what his intention was when he came here. And he left for the best basketball job in the country. I don't have a problem with that. I didn't like the incoming recruits be re-routed to KY. I appreciated his time and accomplishments while at Memphis.

This would be like CJF leaving Memphis to go to Notre Dame after we won four of five straight conference championships.
