And P.J.'s crew had trouble rowing the boat in the heavy rains and winds.
One would think Eagles would soar in the wind at Akron, but it was not to be. Except for the early TD, they did zip the rest of the way.
BTW, isn't Zips short for zippers (honest). And aren't zippers made in a factory? Why wasn't the game played at EMU's 'Factory'?
And as for the UMass Minutemen they lasted a lot longer then usual, which frequently has been only a few minutes...
The Flashes were almost golden versus NIU.
And finally, when Ball State meets Eastern Michigan, it will be a game for the birds.
Someone said that UofM and EMU really needed to play this year. Someone would have to win and a win for either team would be a good thing.
When the Wolverines play a lesser foe they say: "We're going to pump you up". I guess they were pumped at Rutgers last night.
And to add to the craziness which was yesterday there was SNOW reported in Michigan (near Traverse City) which is why maybe the MAC should give up football for hockey. Snow on October 4? Now I know why I left Michigan for a more seasonal climate...

And wasn't it (near) 100 in So Cal for the Dodgers' game(s) which, of course, is why they didn't want to play 18 innings? Weather is getting weird...
