But if slavery is such an abomination here in 2014, then we need to send back to Liberia anyone who feels resentment and thinks they'd be better off there than here. If the ancestors of slaves feel they are getting the short end of the stick by living here in the USA, then what's stopping them from being reunited with their long lost families?
How long ago was slavery and how many slaves died? Now remind me again how long ago the holocaust was and how many Jews died.

I don't know if the exact percentage is 50%. But whether it's 52% or 48%, the point is that we now have so many people in favor of big government to keep their payments coming and we have relatively few people who favor traditional, limited government.
