I don't doubt what Dana said to the HS coach, but I actually believe it was David Piland that actually took the last QB slot that would have gone to Carden (which makes it sting all the worse). Kevin Sumlin should have listened to Dana.
It's amazing how influential that University of Houston stretch has been, looking back, with Art Briles at Baylor, Dana Holgorsen at WV, Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech, and Kevin Sumlin at Texas A&M..
And, now, here we are with Tony Levine... While ECU is making waves with Shane Carden.
That said, I do like our quarterbacks, including the one we just signed! Our issues have come from a "CEO" head coach that doesn't know OC talent.

Good read. Glad to see Carden get the last laugh, especially for the coach that said he was a Div. I-AA talent.
