The poll closes at 4 PM tomorrow. Right now the W&M-UNH game has 28 votes for game of the week and the Southern Illinois-NDSU game has 29 votes for game of the week. Your vote could turn the tide.

In fairness, I think it's a pretty good forum if you want to get more educated on overall FCS football. It's a fan forum, so of course there are some annoying people, but I think it's a good resource.

Now, I mostly read and not post, but still - I think signing up is worth it because it's a forum worth checking in on now and then.

Yeah I think I registered over there a few years ago, and I usually just read because there are some people who get pretty pissy.

Tribal, any chance of getting our ranking in that list? Many of those games were between two of the top five CAA teams at the time.

I initially did that but "older" schedules didn't include our rankings. I had to click post-game summaries to get many of our rankings.

2013: NR but we jumped to 23/24 the following week vs UD
2012: NR (we went to 2-5 with this loss after leading UNH late in the 4th)
2011: 16/15
2010: 4/5
2009: 4/5
2008: NR. We were 2-2 coming into this game after losing to #14 Villanova the previous week. We finished 7-4, no playoffs
2005: UNK. We were 2-2 coming into this game. This victory marked the first win over a #1 team in Tribe history. We finished 5-6
2004: UNK. We finished 11-3. This was a weird season as UNH was our 2nd opponent after dropping a close one at UNC. We ended up losing by a FG to #3 UD then JMU deep in the playoffs.
2003: NR. We were 3-5 coming into this game and finished 5-5
2002 and previous games: UNK

I hope Jimmye works his magic again this year. A win up there against a top 5 team that many predict to take the conference would be great. I find it amazing that the only recent loss was on the road against a #11 UNH while we managed to go 2-9 on the year...and we still almost pulled that one out! I find it amazing so many people over on AGS are predicting a UNH win. I get that they should be favored, but history seems to be ignored.

RE: Tribe @ New Hampshire.
So far this season, UNH was blasted by Toledo 54-20 (Toledo hasn't been impressive since game one). UNH beat a bad Lehigh program 45-27, had a nice win by 3 over Richmond, and spanked two putrid teams in Elon and Dartmouth. They score a lot of points but we shut them out last season.

UNH is #7 in the FCS is pass offense with 304 ypg and have only allowed 7 sacks. We've sacked QBs 16 times, good for 13th in the FCS. We're #4 in turnover margin while UNH is ranked #36. We have a top 50 rush defense. It's no secret, W&M needs to find a way to pressure their QB and minimize long gains through the air. I think we can run on the Cats and eat the clock up but we have to continue to protect the ball. We also hold an advantage in our kicking game so that may come into play.

A win here is huge and would set us up nicely to upset Nova for Homecoming. GO TRIBE!

Yes but their fan works during the day, so you need to go on at night.
