Rich Rod needed time to overhaul Michigan. But since he wasn't a "Michigan guy," they canned him.

That Michigan man thing is so hilariously asinine to see people navihate when they're trying to hire new coaches.

People were saying the same thing about Notre Dame after Holtz left. At the end of the day, three programs in the midwest will always be fine over the long run: Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio State.

Rodriguez is a far better fit out west.

Michigan was in a downward spiral. Recruiting had gone to hell, attrition was a major problem on and off the field and they weren't winning.

IMO, the blame starts with Carr. He stuck around a couple years too long, was burnt out and the decline begun. He made matters worse by having too much influence in the AD after he retired.

The problem is that so many people equate "Michigan Man" to mean you're from there. Stupid considering the greatest of them all was an Ohio guy. To add to what I said above, Bo's death is another reason for the current problems at Michigan IMO.

Not that Maryland is anything much, but it makes me feel a little better to see tO$U go through their defense like a hot knife through butter.

Watching Butch blow the lead in the 4th quarter made me chuckle. I'm a petty man.

Just saw updated stats...Dakota Cox, a former Butch commit who decommited when he left, now leads all of FBS in tackles as a sophomore for New Mexico. Probably could've used him...
