Down goes Oregon. Should be the best weekend of the year so far, lots of upsets and top teams going down

I said to myself before checking this thread there's gotta be no way that anyone picked AZ in this one.

I'm glad Oregon was exposed (again). Tired of the media love affair with the Ducks.

This Syracuse outfit is a complete dumpster fire tonight.

What an ugly first half. Cards up 12-3 which is nice but UofL's O-line is horrific, with endless false starts and holding penalties. They make the situation of a true frosh QB even worse. Thankfully UofL's D is saving them thus far on the year.

Syracuse, what can you say? I think they called 6 timeouts that half, I guess there's no penalty for calling it when you don't have it like in basketball. I'd be irate if a Sr QB on my had no clue he was out of timeouts and wasted that much time.

Its not the QB's responsibility to keep up with the timeouts. When he came in from the previous time out, the coaches should have told him that he had no more timeouts. This is the kind of nonsense that we have been witnessing every week from Shafer and staff. This is his second season as a HC. You would think he would be at least a little better at game management by now.

This has been about as ugly of a game as it can be. Even the PBP guy for ESPN sucks. Fitting that Ron Cherry's crew is working this one.

I think that next time we negotiate our media contract we replace Raycom with Comedy Central so we have the proper channel for games like this one tonight.

Yes. Seen it called several times this year. I would imagine that with the injury potential from a clip they were told to make a better effort to call it this year.

This is about the worst offensive line I can remember at Louisville in a long time. We have skill guys but Strong didn't recruit to the O-line like he did the defense. Hard to do anything when you can't block and they hold so often you can't run because it's 1st and 25 every drive.

Well Kap, look on the bright side, if Ron is in Syracuse tonight, he will not be in Clemson tomorrow so neither one of us will be "givin' the business" to the other. 04-cheers

I am as diehard a UofL fan as they come, and even I am having a hard time staying interested in this game. It's ugly, it's boring and it's hard to watch. Thankfully UofL has a dominant defense, because we don't have an O Line or a QB.
