Today is the offical day of autonomy in which the proposals have been submitted to the NCAA.

"The Pac-12 says presidents and chancellors will explore how to implement the proposed reforms at its board meeting Oct. 27, including by each institution, conference-wide action or among the five major conferences."

In other words there is still only a consensus on what should be considered, not what should actually be implemented.

You want to change that? You can. Prove to the bowls that your conference will make them money with fan bases that buy tickets and watch on TV. Do that and they'll be happy to get you a tie in. Green is the only color the bowls care about.

Like any cartel, the P5 wants to protect its gravy train from the interlopers; we get it. Point is, it's not about one university or other competing; it's about building barriers to keep certain members in and certain members out....like a Country Club. It's an ugly system if you ask me.

I actually don't mind all of this autonomy business. These notions have always been prevalent in CFB, it's just now people are saying them in public.

As long as all legislation is permissive, then things are fair.

Nobody should stop Alabama or Texas A&M from cashing out on what they've built.

I would allot to be more like Ocean's Eleven, where the "goody guys" were scheming to steal money that the "bad guys" made legally. Even though in reality, in that movie the good guys are really the villains and the bay guys are really the victims.

The bowls aren't controlled by the P5. They are independnet businesses that contract with the P5 because they want to make money.

You're saying its unfair that the bowls don't value your product the same way they value the P5 product without asking WHY they don't value your product as much.

You know the answer, but since it's one you don't like, you cry foul and demand that the bowls value your product equally even if they lose money to do so.
