This is not how posting on this message board works.

If someone posts a comment, anyone else can chime in and remark on that comment without worrying about if it was their "business" or not..... Everything posted to the thread is fair game to be quoted or replied.

If it was indeed no one else's business and the public's input was not desired, (which in many cases is completely legitimate) then it should be handled via PM.
