-They can and I'm tempted to go with them, but the spread is too high for me.

Maryland gets to prove it belongs playing Big Time ball.
-This game is bigger for the divisional race than it's being viewed as. Maryland will likely be favored over Penn State, Michigan, and Rutgers and has already beaten Indiana. They play Michigan State at home late in the season with Maryland coming off a bye and Michigan State coming off the game vs. Ohio State. Now they also have Iowa and Wisconsin as crossover games and I don't put very good odds on them going to Indianapolis, but if they pull this off (and they can), a lot of the set-up is nice.

Can Rutgers get its first win in the Big Ten this week against a train wreck Michigan team?
-I'm back and forth. Yes they certainly can, but Michigan is going to rally together at some point and get a few victories. If they play up to potential they are a lot better. That said, they haven't the last three games so why should this game be any different?
