I bet this IMAX, NetFlix, and regular theater distribution issue becomes huge in the next year or so....

On the movie itself, it was such a great mix of kung fu, drama, and mysticism that it was tough to beat. Not sure how they would go for a sequel considering how it ended.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was just a modern-day Wu Xia Pian style
martial arts film... with better cinematography.

As kids, we’d make fun of those late night TV, over-the-top theatrical fantasy films.

Sounds good to me. I can't get enough martial arts movies, though Crouching Tiger was pretty slow.

They did go for more story but the martial arts was top notch.

Ip Man is the best modern iteration of a classic martial arts movie I've seen in years. Anyone who likes these types of movies would enjoy it thoroughly.

I saw the first two and actually really enjoyed them despite the fact that my idea of a good martial arts film is Kung Pow! Enter the Fist.
