They've been the highest rated cable-news channel for a long time, but now they're topping ESPN and everyone else:

No major new shows on USA/TNT. Several of MLB's big market teams are doing bad this year (Atlanta, Boston, NYY, Cubs). There is absolutely NOTHIN' on ESPN worth watching weeknights other than PTI. Exemption granted for Thursday for CFB. Exemption granted for NFL games. Exemption granted for #MACtion and #BeltBall in late October into November. But all that crap wasn't going on in the quarter in question.

What I'd be interested to know is the ratings for Stossel and The Independents on FBN. I know Stossel is the highest rated show on FBN. I want to know the specific numbers of those two though. And how well Stossel does on re-air on Fox News.

FNC isn't worthy enough to hold ESPN's jockstrap. They are the king of kings in the TV world.

I didn't say they didn't make bank. I said FNC beat their ratings for that quarter because the non-sports content is terrible... and what sports that was on (MLB) suffered from major teams having bad years.

No surprise. There are a ton of old people that just sit all day in front of either FNC or CSPAN. Boredom evidently drives one to insanity.

Fox news is extremely popular but then again, so is reality television. They both are equally real too.
