I read a book called the Hot Zone back in the 90's. We had Ebola here then in Reston Virginia. Look it up. This is not our first case of Ebola.

Protip: If you are or were in one of the outbreak countries .... and NOT a US citizen .... you should be flatly denied entry until you've been outside the hot zone for a month and documented as such in a credible location.

Maybe people should be infected with Reston. I wonder if it would have the same effect for immunization.

I still say ban all travel to that region of Africa unless travelers agree to a two week quarantine when they return. Also no one traveling from another country who has been to that region of Africa in the last 30 days would be banned from travel to the US.

Final thought, Texas for the first case, do we know if the infected came from the unsecure border?

I lived in Reston for 7 years. Place is filled w/ petty statists who love their HOAs (yes, multiple levels of HOA)

Sounds like they got off a plane that took off from Liberia.

Why are we letting planes in from infected countries?

States should take up the ban if the Feds won't do it.

Note that one of the Doctors that got the 8 timezone flight for life was from Dallas Fort Worth (although I think treated in Atlanta).
