Does anyone know of any good hotels near Brighthouse Networks Stadium? Looking to see a game there soon. Also any hotels within walking distance that wouldnt be seen on an episode of cops? Thanks.

UCF/ECU game is @ECU this season.

There are no hotels within walking distance because its an On-Campus stadium. The stadium is surrounded by dorms, student shopping centers, and classroom buildings. However, all the hotels in the area have shuttle service to get on campus. None of the local hotels are bad. East Orlando is a nice area.

Insert <4465 Knights Victory Way, Orlando, FL 32816> into any hotel search engine. Don't stay at a place under $110 a night. You will have decent secondary hotels for Marriot and Hilton to stay at. Those are all about a mile walk.

If you want a shorter walk, you can park for free in certain lots on campus. Tailgating areas aren't close, but also not too far from the free parking.

Yeah..the newly renovated DoubleTree is just behind the new private dorm/retail area at the corner of Univ/Alafaya...and might be less than 1 mile from the stadium. As others noted...there are a slew of Marriott/Hilton and other brand hotels up/down Univ Blvd and some on Alafaya...all probably 1-2 miles from campus.

Just so you know, UCF' stadium is on UCF's campus. So just look up hotels by UCF. The higher the price, the nicer the hotel. There aren't any bad neighborhoods anywhere near UCF, so that won't be an issue.

There are hotels in "walking" distance. My definition of walking distance is about 1 mile. Then you don't have to deal with parking and heavy traffic leaving. You will get back to the hotel quicker walking as long as it is around 1 mile.

It's not laid out like a college town or downtown campus so while there may be 1-2 within a walking distance, it's likely along a state road. No clue if any hotels offer shuttles for gameday?

I'd just plan on driving and open up your search a bit for the hotel that best meets your needs - especially if the ucf area ones are requiring a 2 night stay and you only need one.

With the exception of Raddison on Alafaya at 50, don't stay on any hotels on 50/E Colonial.

Wait until UCF constructs the beautiful, state-of-the-art on-campus hotel and conference center.

some of you are lazy. I consider the former Holiday Inn now Doubletree walking distance if you don't have a donor pass, it's basically across the street from the VAB building if you take the Mcdonald's road exit

Has nothing to do with lazy or distance. Just giving them an idea of what to expect. If it was a college town, I'd love to park//5tay a mile out and walk through an area that I could bar hop and meet people. That's just not us.
