*Hollywood, et al
*NGOs

I remember it. I don't think it was supposed to be liberal, more "pragmatic". But since everyone on both sides seems to just want echo chambers, it turned solidly liberal, and ended an hour after it started haha.

Well thank God for the Tea Party. Politics hasn't been the same since.

It was right before the 2010 elections.

The Coffee party was a astroturf effort by a number of high paying political progressive donors who tried to get some momentum to try to prevent the House political shift, and it pretty much failed when it was found out that a number of the big-donors were supposedly a lot of staffers of Democratic Represenatives that were worried about getting tossed.
