Given UT's start, the odds are A&M will do better overall. #7 vs. #14 ought to play better in Peoria than unranked vs. #6

Note that Iowa/Iowa St. beat Texas A&M/Rice, Washington/Illinois and nearly beat USC/BC and Alabama/So. Miss.

There's nothing in these numbers to worry about for the Big 12.

Unfortunately since RU-ttfp was on BTN we don't know the national rating. We only know that the NYC and Philly ratings were very high.

You guys better be ready for MSU. They've looked very good in those games of theirs I've seen. And they'll be ready to play in Starkville. The home field advantage will be a big help.

I noticed that Bullet selected a week in which several Big 12 schools were playing SEC opponents. Gee, I wonder how the Big 12 does on a week where their games are all in house against a Big 12 schedule. I guess well see in a week or two.

The WVU-Oklahoma game did very well. That's a B12 conference game.

Iowa St. wasn't playing an SEC school. Texas wasn't playing an SEC school. Both were coming off bad losses and the ratings beat those games mentioned before.

The lowest rated ESPN Saturday game of the season is an all SEC matchup-Ole Miss-Vanderbilt with a .7. Next lowest is Missouri-Toledo at .8.

Good matchups get good ratings. Stinkers don't, no matter what conference you are in or how many MNCs you have won recently.
