Rolleyes Tigers on TV
Yesterday's early came, DeAngelo was playing, until he got hurt in the 2nd Qtr. Hate it for him. He had missed the last 2 games with a hamstring injury, then got 11 carries in a little over a quarter before either getting a sprained ankle (yesterday's report) or some sort of foot injury (tonight's report). Stewart and Tolbert are both out, so he was poised to get a lot of carries, but now is said to be out for next Sunday.

In the late game, Wade Smith plays for Philadelphia. Then last night, Ronald Leary got quite a few mentions playing for Dallas (positive mentions). Tonight, Dontari Poe and Stephen Gostkowski are playing.

FUT, come on man! If I recall, your thread was about the Dallas cowboys, which granted, included Leary. Maybe you should have titled it about Leary instead of the Cowboys. Just a thought.

RE: Tigers on TV
DeAngelo could have been an HOF back if he had been a workhorse for several years in his prime.

Splitting carries with Stewert all these years has extended his career a bit though, but he will never be a HOFer now.

I was just kidding around but you may want to head over to ntr and check the title of the thread. Just a thought.

Its possible. His yards per carry the last few years is still NFL good but well below his normal output.

I'd like to see him land with the cowboys for a year or two to finish out his career. I bet he'd average over 5.0 ypc again behind that line.

RE: Tigers on TV
If the panthers let him go, he needs to find a team with a line that gets him to the second level consistently.

He can still light up LB's and DB's with speed and power, but at this stage he needs less pounding strait at the 300 lb guys.

Nine years in the NFL is a very, very long career. Especially for a RB.

Kudos to DW for a very distinguished career.
