Other scores of note
Our good friends up the river, Pitt, lost to Akron 21-10, lol and Toledo is running down
everyone's throat in the MAC. They have beaten BSU and CMU the last 2 weeks. That offensive line combined with Kareem Hunt and Logan Woodside is good. Will be interesting to see what they do in a couple of weeks @Iowa State.

Ohio State and Toledo will be the two best running teams UC faces all season. The defense is bad, but I expect the numbers to look less bad going forward.

RE: Other scores of note
I've made the comment on here before that the only teams better than Toledo this year in the AAC are UC, UCF, ECU and Houston (Temple might now be part of this discussion). They beat SMU, UConn, Tulsa and Tulane by two scores or more.
Speaking of other scores of note-- Miami University lost to Buffalo by a TD extending their losing streak to 21 games.

That Toledo RB is a monster, and their line is solid.

Have you not been reading the AAC board. We will get killed by Memphis and ECU. Both better than OSU. Really, I think Toledo beats Memphis. Even crazier to think that he didn't even play this week...their 3rd string running back had 97 yard on 11 rushes.

I'm pretty impressed with Toledo's coach and what he's done there. Given the "MAC salary cap" I suppose that means he'll be taking top tier G5 money (SMU?) or step to a P5 rebuilding job next season. I agree with those who suggest Toledo is pretty good; they were hanging tough with Mizzou until the Rockets' QB went down and Mizzou won @ South Carolina last Saturday so all that speaks well of UT's competitiveness.

Matt Campbell. He is a young up and comer (he is only 33 years old). He was UT's OC under Tim Beckman and took the HC job when he left for Illinois. When Beckman left many of their posters said that they wouldn't miss a beat because Campbell pretty much ran the show anyway. Guess they were right.

Yeah, Illinois took the wrong Toledo coach.

The Hurricanes rebounded with a 22-10 win over Duke. They shut down Duke's passing game and for the most part dominated the line of scrimmage.
