OT: Ryder Cup.......
Patrick Reed defines where we have lost it.....we don't know how to do that anymore and have enjoyed complacency in getting paid.....

....there is truth to his moxy relative to the rest of team....

kudos to the 'new' fat man.....

RE: OT: Ryder Cup.......
We knew it would be tough this year. This year's Europe team players were playing great going into the weekend. Rory, Debusson, Graeme, Rose, etc... all playing their best golf of their careers. We need Speith, Rees, and Ricky to have the game of their lives in order to have a chance.

We'll get em next time. Hopefully.

I loved Azinger tossing in the zinger about the format and leadership....

....hoping he is the captain at Hazeltine in '16 and years moving forward.....Stads would be a good one too.....

RE: OT: Ryder Cup.......
Reed surprised me. He wasn't playing very well heading into the Cup but performed admirably. He and Keegan Bradley are both too inconsistent for my liking however.

USA team is getting old. Tiger and Phil won't be factors in the future. We have plenty of good, young golfers - we just did a bad job of picking the team (considering guys like Horschel and Chris Kirk were left off the team). I don't like that two-year system they have of picking automatic qualifiers - they need to concentrate on guys playing well in 2014 and not those who played well in 2013.

Tiger, for all his match play success as a kid, was really a liability in Ryder cup competition.....his overall record sucks....especially in relative terms....

and you're right....we are getting older....

however, Reed and Spieth are exactly the type of guys we want playing in that type of competition......

totally agree the selection system needs another glance.....Horschel and Kirk not being on the team along with the injured players......well........we deserved to lose just like we did.....
