As far as Satterfield, look at it from another perspective, he is a graduate of App, is wife is a graduate of App, they wanted to raise the kids closer to family, both set grandparents live in NC, Satterfield makes no bones that he loves coaching at App, and living in Boone, its got everything he wants professionally, and for his family its a great place to raise his kids. If he gets the program turned around, starts winning, and proves he is a very good coach, its likely going to take a big time P5 program to lure him away from Boone, he probably will not leave for any mid major school. This could be a huge advantage for App, if he proves to be a great coach, he probably will stay a lot longer than normal, and provide stability for the program.
I was thinking the EARLIEST that Fritz would be "called elsewhere" would be after NEXT season... But 2 years? Yeah, that's more reasonable.
While what he has done at Georgia Southern at this point is extremely impressive... He hasn't actually accomplished anything there... yet.
The "big dogs" will give him a year or two to see how he does with keeping a program running at a high level (at least that's how I figure it).

Someone on GSUfans.com put it in good perspective - right now Fritz is 3-2 with one of those wins against Savannah State in his only year coaching at the FBS level. While he may be a P5 quality coach, he's going to have to do more at this level to get that promotion.
