Trinity in Jackson has a Senior legit 6'2" 200lb QB named Kyle Aiken who may break Kenton Evans high school TD record. If he doesn't, he will be 2nd all time in Tennessee history. He is the best High School QB I've seen personally play with any regularity. He just burned JCM for 76.9% completion and routinely completes 70-80% off his passes with precision. (Rockets, no air underneath unless needed) Completed 85% versus USJ for a 164.6 QB rating. Oh, he has wheels too and is a stud on the bb court. He can fly. His worst game was St. Georges, threw for over 300 yards and 56% completion ratio.
Blake Butler is the head coach. I hope Fuente knows about this young man, because the Big 6 are calling. He could redshirt a year under Lynch and take snaps during Lynchs senior year. Be a shame to miss out on this young man if there is anyway we can get him. He is a quality individual as well. His mother just happens to teach at Trinity. Losing this one with his coach being a second generation Tiger would sting, for me anyway. I know videos don't tell the whole story, but this one does.
Don't really understand the silence around this young man. Yes he plays for a private school but he does this stuff every game and is humble, kind young gentleman. Might ask Jackson Central Merry, Southside, Northside or any of the big schools in Jackson if this young man is for real. I haven't heard him mentioned, but really doubt there are many QBs out there better than Aiken. He has to be a top 25 QB prospect. Besides that, he has what it takes upstairs. He is highly intelligent and disciplined, something a few of these other talents lacked...Hope our staff is paying attention because word is others have been.
In this case, seeing is believing, no fluff music, just the real deal.

Just watch this video. Fuente needs to toss the Tigers hat in the ring. If not this young man may just end up at Ole Miss and Tigers will be wondering, why didn't we recruit this young man? Just my two cents. Let them fight it out if the young man will come here.
We don't need to put all our eggs in one basket, besides, Aiken is a athlete, if you watch this you will see that. The Tigers need athletes with good heads on their shoulders, but I'll put this young man up against Brady Davis any day. Josh Pastner doesn't mind recruiting 2-3 deep, why should Fuente?
We are trying to develop depth. Am I biased, yes, but seeing is believing. I'm 53 years old and Aiken is the best high school QB I've seen personally. He routinely checks off 2-3 receivers now and drills it to the open man whether its 8 yards or 50. It is unclear whether Fuente could land this young man anyway as I've not seen any mention of Memphis recruiting him. He may be Stanford bound, but Memphis doesn't need him, gotcha!
Alright guys, sorry I posted this, you guys are the experts, this kid sucks, I don't know what I'm talking about. Seats it the Liberty Bowl since it opened on the 50. Highland Hundred forever. Trinity sucks, Aiken isn't Memphis good, I get it. I stand corrected and in awe of your superior knowledge. My eyes have deceived me obviously and thousands of others. This is why folks rarely post valid info here anymore. It is not worth the hassle and no one appreciates the time it takes to simple share info like this. Have fun, yall should really start your own recruiting service. Sigh...

Don't take it like that. I think we just have to learn to think in terms of having skill AND depth (for a change). You are completely correct-we need more than one QB. What if Lynch had gotten hurt at Ole Miss? How deep doo-doo would we be in?
I can understand if going after one kid hurts your chances with a second kid, etc, but to make the leap to the next level-as we all want to do-requires skill and depth at every position.

WR need to get some help in that position. Play makers with size (TALL) and speed .
A lot of college QB's end up being useful at other positions, too.
Tigerpawr, he sounds good. Covington is playing in a Jackson district now, but Trinity is not on our schedule, so I have not seen him.
Send his video to the Tiger football recruiting address:

That should get it into the right hands, if they don't have it already. BTW, pay no attention to 75% of the posters on this board. A lot of them are legends in their own mind.

If, I had a say, I would say sign him up and may the best man win! This kid is good but while you're at it find some linemen who'll give them some time and some receivers who can catch the football!
The kid looks great. After all the injuries we've had at QB over the past 10 years I don't know why anyone would object to adding as much talent there as we can.

Exactly, Memphis fans remember well how quick the QB depth chart can be depleted. Bring him in. If not a QB might be a great receiver or DB.
Can always use good quarterbacks, but as info- Brady Davis's Starkville teamed ranked 8th in country this week. We might have a little QB competition soon, his coaches mentioned that his deep balls are deadly accurate. Our future looks bright
