I think everyone's Power Rankings will hold a bit more credibility after this weekend. Like chiefsfan said in another thread the games this weekend will help us really get a good idea of who is playing the best football right now.

I'm surprised more people don't have stAte at number one after beating Utah State. That's the best win any of us have to this point.

Honestly no... only saw the TXST game last week. We faced Utah State in the WAC a couple years ago and got slapped around. They're a perennially solid team so I was impressed when I saw the w. They'll be bowling again this year, I have no doubt.

Our D stoned Utah St. all night, despite our offense setting the Utah St. offense up with good field position throughout the game.

Then, in crunch time, our offense scored to win the game.

Considering the fact that Utah St. is a better team than we will face the rest of the year, it inspired confidence in me.

Setting up Utah State with good field position throughout the game didn't inspire confidence in me. We haven't performed consistently on offense yet. That really needs to happen.
