Problem is, obviously the press and powers that be think ECU is better than Marshall right now as proven by the rankings. I firmly agree that CUSA is the best G5 top to bottom, but ECU has arguably the better team, SOS, wins and perception in spite of their conference. They should have stayed, except the basketball is much better there. Marshall is the only team in CUSA to have a shot, and I think they have to run the table, but also must have the Pirates lose another. In the crappy AAC, that will be easier for ECU than Marshall in CUSA. 2 loss ECU is worse than an undefeated Marshall. A 1 loss ECU is debatable and I don't like our chances against it.

ECU IS GOING TO LOSE AT LEAST ONE MORE GAME!!!! YOU CAN BOOK IT!

Maybe the thread was started because the OPoster thought we did something right or has a modicum of respect for TXST. Then again, maybe not.

Regardless, after the heartbreaking loss to Illinois (WKU knows that feeling) and without our starting star RB, TE and one of our OLs, add in the loss of Orakpo (Navy), his replacement getting ejected and the team playing for their head Athletic Trainer (who passed away last Monday) it was a pretty emotional win with good implications........they never gave up. It's not something we've seen thus far as an FBS team.

Not a rant. Rants are long and argumentative. I'm stating the truth. A thread about an AAC team playing a Sun Belt team, should be on one of those boards. A Mod should move this thread.

Why can we not comment on a great game, that to be honest a lot of CUSA fans are aware of with Tulsa and TxState? One topic talking about a game is not a problem, I see we talk about other teams outside of CUSA here, so why not a good game?

ECU has the edge for the BCS game and I think MWC and CUSA will fight for best overall G5.

I think it will end up:

1. MWC
2. CUSA
3. AAC
4. SBC
5. MAC
