Seasonal Affective Disorder
We had a discussion on light bulbs a couple of years ago and I can't find in. We are making a conversion to LED bulbs. Someone mentioned there is a type they use that helps with SAD. What was it?

These lights are called full spectrum. I use a full spectrum bulb for my bird because he can't get adequate light from sitting near a window. These lights basically supply the same spectrum of light that the sun does.

Humans will need a bigger setup than one bulb. You can purchase light boxes for SAD.

This is also a reason why suicide rates are high in cloudy places like Seattle and San Francisco.
