NMSU @ LSU Game Thread
NMSU getting killed by LSU tonight 42-7 at the half. The only score for the Aggies came on a 70+ yard designed run.

RE: NMSU @ LSU Game Thread
I take credit for this disaster.

Late in the 1st quarter it was 0-0 so I decided to tune in Jim Hawthorne because he does a fine radio call.

That was all it took.03-shhhh

RE: NMSU @ LSU Game Thread
LSU handed NMSU several opportunities early. The Aggies had 1 fumble recovery and 2 INTs in the first quarter. But the NMSU offense couldn't do anything with them. It looked like NMSU might get out of the first quarter with a 0-0 score, but LSU changed QB's and immediately charged down the field for a score. Then the offense gave up a pick 6 - and Bam, it was 14-0. Things only went downhill from there. Nice run by NMSU's second string QB for 6 late in the 2nd quarter.

Generally though - NMSU doesn't belong on the same field. Like a 6A HS team playing a 2A team.

NMSU got $975,000 for the game. That's why we play these games.

Next year we have 2 @ Ole Mis and Florida.
