Encore showing of Towson-Maine on CSN now...just starting the 2nd Q. Maine inserted true freshman QB.

TU's front four looks very impressive.

UNH easily handled Elon.

Villanova beat Maine going away.

URI is still staying with Brown but down by a TD.

Top 5 ranked UNI is down 14-0 to another solid program, Indiana St.

Marshall clobbered ODU 56-14. Monarchs' QB threw for 85 yards and rushed for -16.

Delaware and Sacred Heart tied at 7 to start the 2nd half

North Dakota-Montana tied at 15 with about 1 to go and Montana just blocked a 40 yard FG.. Edit - Montana wins on a last second FG.

That SD State turned into a massacre.

SBU beat TU 14-3 and Sacred Heart beat UD. Unbelieveable. I'm thrilled SBU got the job done...we knew they were better than others thought.

So you know, this is actually Idaho State as opposed to Iowa State. Both bad teams, Idaho State worse.

Actually, UR beat LU in double OT. LU kicked what must've been a 60 yard FG with no time left to go to the first OT. UR scored a TD in the second OT then picked off a pass to seal the victory.

Wow that 60 yard FG came after a very quick play to set it up after UR kicked one to go ahead with not much time left. Impressive, but glad the CAA team pulled it out.

RE: Other Games of Interest
I cannot understand why is it good for a CAA team to beat an OOC opponent when that CAA team isn't W&M. IMO, we should want UR to lose as a loss may have helped our playoff chances. I like the sound of a 2-3 Spiders more than a 3-2 Spiders. I get Conference pride but...

I'm glad UD lost and I'm glad JMU beat an undefeated Albany. Because of these two outcomes, we're tied for first in the CAA and UD dropped to 4th.

Please, explain.

RE: Other Games of Interest
The difference is because we play Richmond and don't play Liberty. Right now, the only good teams we play this year are going to be VT, Richmond, Nova, and UNH. It helps our strength of schedule and chances of playoffs if we beat teams that are considered good. If all of our wins are over iffy teams and there are questions over if we should make it or another team, strength of schedule helps.

Edit: Mistakenly wrote Delaware instead of Nova.

A stronger CAA gets 4 instead of 3 teams in the playoffs.
