We don't need to pass the ball, I don't think they can stop our run game. Besides, I'm not impressed with CMU's first 4 games.

I'd like to see us stabilize our passing game. Find the TE again, throw a bit more to Russell--even if he drops 1 or 2--and use Russell and Olack to take defenders deep, clear some space in the middle, and use Corey Jones' speed if he gets matched up with a linebacker. Just not so many of those sideline screens that seem to work less and less.

Agree. We have some options that we didn't use last week.

We don't execute it very well. Ball State ran it much more effectively - or we didn't defense it very well. That is where I see coaching deficiencies - in our execution and a lot of missed blocks.

Try to spread out the defenders to keep the middle more open to run.

I hate them, too. They did finally get one to work tonite, though. One.

I think we botched a wildcat tonite. But, we did get an onside kick to work! That was a thing of beauty. PERFECT!

Russel is growing leaps and bounds in every area, getting open, fighting for the ball.... even shows good class on the field.

Cory-Jones is also looking like a good prospect at receiver but can we get him a designated catcher for punts? The kid's going to give himself ulcers.

Need to see more of all of that from Russell the rest of the season. He can be such a weapon.

Corey Jones has muffed at least one return every game. Very scary seeing him back there. However, as a receiver, his speed does work when you can get him the ball in space--particularly when he gets matched up against a linbacker.

And Zmolik has made some nice grabs. Good things happen for our offense when we throw a few times to the TE.
