UH's Greenberry on playing UCF
@ChrisSheltonTDC:
I spoke to UH WR Deontay Greenberry this week about their upcoming game against Central Florida next week. Needless to say, he was confident
Greenberry said. "Last year, to me, in my opinion, they weren’t that good. They happened to overcome to come up with the W."
He added “We don’t really expect this game to be close... We want to really get after these guys from the jump and hit them in the mouth.”

I won't take anyone from this team serious. You lost to UTSA. Shut your mouths and try to actually score against a decent team.

Greenberry has been one of the lone brightspots but seriously don't give UCF any headlines.

I'm sure GOL and the coaching staff appreciate the material. They'll say, "we don't listen to the press or opposing players", but you know this is getting used in team meetings.

From what I've seen of Houston's offense, he probably should have stayed quiet. UCF matches up well with them, but Houston has a good defense too and may win with that unit. I'd like to see that game. Hope it works out that I can watch it.

The coaches don't have to say anything. The players will know all about it.

Oh we've been upset, but never in that fashion. First game in the history of your new stadium, returning a ton of talent off a team that was pretty darn good last year, huge crowd on hand, and you guys nearly got shut out against an at best pretty decent football team. Baring you guys somehow winning the conference it's going to define your season. When you and every other Houston fan think back about this season the first moment that will come to mind is that embarrassment in your stadium opening.

At least is wasn't Texas State, again.

05-nono UCONN's Geremy Davis is actually the best WR in the AAC.

Now if only UCONN's quarterback was allowed to throw the football...

Weren't that good last year? Tell that to our AAC championship trophy and our BCS victory. This is like Charlie Strong last year saying that the Ville was the better team....when they lost.

Bring it on berry man!

RE: UH's Greenberry on playing UCF
One I like and dislike it. I like it because being a former DB it still gets me excited when a WR talks trash. I will be watching the UCF DB's against DGB. Will be fun to watch for sure as UCF still is one tough team. I dislike it because, DGB has done good but also has dropped a few he wants back. Just go into the game and let your play speak for it's self. Maybe the team needed some brash talking or something...who knows.

Also, going into the season I would have said DGB was the best WR. However, I've been very impressed with Hardy (I think that is his name) from ECU. My vote is for him. ECU got a few good ones.

If UCF "weren't that good" then Houston was F'ing awful.

The good news for Greenberry is he doesn't have to worry about dropped balls on Thursday. With Glenn covering him, no one is going to throw the ball his direction.
