My parents live in Yuma Arizona so I was planning on coming out this year for the game and then head down to Yuma but had some work function that got in the way. I will be out there in 2016 if everything stays put but I was looking forward to checking out Las Cruces.

There will be a smaller contingent making the game. Many of us are still trying to balance out conference road trips VS going to the larger P5 games. I am sure as the years go on and the newness of playing P5 teams wears some, there will be more of us making the trip.

I've been and it is nice. White Sands is nearby and it's pretty cool to be hiking a mountain and look up and see a Stealth Fighter flying over head. My buddy worked on base so I got to see one taxi on front of us. I won't be making the trip but there are sites to see in the area. If you are into the outdoors there is a lot of rec opportunities,

Oh yes. I love it out there. My son and family lived in Alamogordo for six years. His wife has two degrees (psychology and criminal justice) from NMSU. It is a nice place to visit. Been all over the state and even considered retiring in Cloudcroft.

Last time they broke it when I checked it. Also, since when are overalls not considered a shirt?

I wish I could, but have already made our 2 OOC games, as well as 2 home games, and will be making the trip to Navy... And getting married as well in April, so that costs a few bucks.

You could cut back on the wedding... Maybe take the trip as the Honeymoon, kinda like desert before dinner, win-win.

Yes, but he'd have to save up for the divorce he'd have after the honeymoon/football junket.

my fiancé is a die hard GS football fan as I am, but she would definitely not go for that one. Antigua sounds like a much better honeymoon location. lol

Definitely making the trip along a good many other player-parents. Looking forward to getting back out West again - hope to have some time for a little hiking in the Organ Mtn. NRA on Saturday morning before the game. Any recommendations for better-than-average restaurants and/or must-see places?
